This research aims to formulate strategies that must be implemented to develop performance by analyzing the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats through analysis of the Solok City Government. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the SWOT analysis method which aims to improve the performance of Solok City Government employees. Based on the results and discussions that have been carried out previously, the author concludes that: the strategy used by the Solok City Government in order to improve the performance of its employees is the SO (Strengths–Opportunities) strategy, actions that can be taken in the SO strategy include collaborating with other agencies, carrying out development performance through training for employees, and maximizing excellent service to the community.
