Submitting Manuscripts

To help ensure a smooth submission and review process, please complete the checklist below before submitting your manuscript.

Pre-submission checklist

Checkpoint

What to do

Fit with aims & scope

Re-read the journal’s aims and scope and confirm your manuscript clearly fits the journal’s focus and audience.

Completeness & language quality

Ensure the manuscript is complete, clearly written, and free from spelling/grammar errors.

Ethics & integrity

Confirm compliance with the journal’s publication ethics (originality, proper citation, authorship, conflicts of interest).

Permissions

Obtain permission for any third-party content (e.g., figures, tables, instruments, extensive quotations) where required, and include proper credits.

Formatting compliance

Check that the manuscript follows the author guidelines (structure, abstract, keywords, tables/figures, reference style).

Peer review model (single-blind)

The journal uses single-blind peer review: author identities are visible to editors and reviewers, while reviewer identities remain anonymous to authors. No manuscript anonymisation is required.

Self-citations

Cite your prior work normally and accurately. Avoid excessive self-citation and ensure all citations are directly relevant to the manuscript.

Unpublished work

Avoid citing or listing unpublished manuscripts unless essential and permitted by the journal’s policy; where used, provide sufficient context and verifiable details (e.g., working paper, preprint).

Separate files (if used)

If you include acknowledgements, author bios, or supplementary materials, prepare them as separate files when required by the journal workflow.

Final quality check

Do a final scan for missing tables/figures, broken citations, inconsistent references, and incomplete metadata (title, authors, affiliations).
